A 6,2 magnitude earthquake hit Japan on Saturday. The earthquake shook east of HonsuIsland, RIA Novosti reports referring to U.S. Geological Survey. The quake epicenter was 57 km west of Iwaki city at the depth of 37,6 km. No tsunami warning was issued. There have not been reports of injured.

President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Istanbul to participate in the Fourth United Nations Conference on Least Developed Countries.
